Crowns & Bridges
Our office is proud to provide the CEREC Same-Day Crown services for our patients. Using this technology most of our patients will not need to go through a temporary crown phase and will leave the appointment with a permanent restoration. But when a temporary crown is needed careful maintenance is also required. This includes regular brushing around the temporary restoration and careful, modified flossing techniques along with careful biting on the tooth.

CEREC Technology Process
Here's how it works. Dr. Cho will scan a 3-D image of your damaged tooth directly to our milling machine located in our dental office. 3-D technology eliminates the need for the goopy and uncomfortable impressions we used in the past, and he's also able to custom design your restoration with the image.
Next, our milling machine uses high-quality ceramic porcelain to fabricate your new tooth crown while you wait. Then Dr. Cho can permanently place your crown and make any needed adjustments for your bite. This eliminates the frustration of wearing a temporary crown that might break or fall off.
With CEREC technology, there's no need for you to delay repairing a chipped, broken, or decayed tooth. It's quick and simple to fit your dental procedure into your busy schedule, and you'll receive a durable and aesthetically-pleasing dental restoration you can trust and rely on.

CEREC is the most advanced and comprehensive same-day restoration system available. Using an intraoral camera that captures a 3D digital impression of the tooth being worked on, we are able to design and mill the final restoration seamlessly chairside on a computer. This final restoration is delivered the same day, eliminating the waiting period with temporary restorations.
What is the CEREC process?
A single-visit restoration involves a digital impression of the tooth versus the traditional “goop” impression. This allows the dentist to instantly have a working model of the tooth and digitally design the restoration chairside. This final restoration is then milled using an in-office mill, processed, and delivered the same-day to our patients.
How long can a CEREC same-day crown last?
CEREC same-day restorations are made with the same materials used in dental laboratories. Hence the longevity of these restorations does not differ from traditional lab-made restorations. Dental restorations typically last about 10-15 years. However this can vary greatly depending on the degree of home care, consistent regular dental check-up and cleanings, and innate tendencies patients have.
