Children's Dentistry
At Sky Valley Dental, Dr. Yunki Cho recommends that you schedule your child’s first dental appointment around his or her first birthday. By that time, your child will have some baby teeth coming in. Your child’s new baby teeth can be examined by Dr. Cho in our office, and he can evaluate your child’s overall oral health.
Child's First Dental Visit
Of course, if you need help with your child’s oral health before his or her first birthday or have questions about caring for your child’s oral health at home, please feel free to contact our office for assistance. We are happy to answer questions about your child’s dental care.
Oral Health As Your Child Grows
As your child ages and grows, Dr. Cho will monitor his or her oral health, recommending dental cleanings and treatments accordingly. At some point, Dr. Cho will most likely recommend fluoride treatments and dental sealants to help protect your child’s teeth. Fluoride treatments and dental sealants are painless treatments that can be performed easily in our dental office to help guard your child's teeth against cavities.
If necessary, Dr. Cho may also recommend orthodontics to improve your child’s bite or alignment.
